AirPlus is a global payments and travel services company operating in a fast-moving agile delivery environment. Development teams worked in Jira while SAP Solution Manager served as the governance backbone for transport management - but the two systems operated as completely disconnected worlds. User stories had to be manually recreated as Work Packages and Work Items in Solution Manager, introducing delays and inconsistencies at every handover. Developers had no visibility into SAP delivery status, and repeated administrative effort consumed significant delivery capacity.

Codemine designed a tailored Jira–SAP Solution Manager integration that automatically creates and pre-fills Work Packages and Work Items directly from a single action in Jira - standardised, aligned with internal processes, and immediately ready for ABAP development. Solution Manager became the governance backbone. Jira remained the execution layer. Governance became embedded, not enforced.
