SKF is a global industrial manufacturing company operating complex, high-volume logistics flows across multiple regions. The standard SAP TM inbound service for Intra Company Transportation Requests relied on ECH-based error handling - technically logged but inaccessible to business teams. Country-specific address and postal code inconsistencies caused recurring disruptions, and there was no structured way for logistics teams to correct payload data or safely reprocess failed messages without re-triggering the source system.

Codemine migrated the interface from ECH to SAP AIF, disabling ECH and executing interface logic through the Proxy Engine with the full AIF feature set activated. The implementation included AIF structure mappings for deterministic inbound XML transformation, BRF+ decision tables for country-specific address and postal code normalisation (Brazil, Canada, non-EU rules), explicitly changeable fields for business self-service correction, and an AIF Monitor in Fiori Launchpad with recipient determination routing errors automatically to region-specific teams.
